Some Random Information About Me.

I’m a writer. Always have been. Since I could hold a pen I wrote. I had my first work published (poetry) at the age of 15. After years of learning every kind of writing, and more publication – travel writing, fiction, short stories, poetry – I landed a job in marketing and corporate writing & communications.

That was the end of my love affair with writing. It’s always the case, when you turn something you love to do into an occupation. I don’t regret it though, because my morph into corporate writer meant there was now a vacancy in my life for another creative outlet.

And so I found my crafting and designing bone at the age of 39…

I love the scent of violets, a comfy bed, a warm day and driving through a eucalypt forest just after the rain. I love things with whispers of the past, still alive in the present.

When I was a little girl I spent a lot of time with my father attending antique auctions and markets, digging in old settlements for porcelain fragments and old bottles. I used to spend a lot of time lurking in museums, I studied archaeology, collected old things and dreamed of traveling back in time. I always wanted to work in a museum, instead I opted to live in one….sort of.

I’m a marketing executive living in Melbourne, Australia. For fun I like to create: books, jewelry, artwork, digital art, t-shirt designs, graphic art, photographs.

I open the boxes other people pass by, I walk into shops other people don’t even notice. It’s about a love of old things, the sentimentality of the past, and a desire to bring things loved long ago into the present.
